Through its professional societies and members worldwide, WFEO assists UN bodies with the analysis of the technical, economic and environmental feasibility of sustainable development proposals.
- UNESCOOfficial Associate status, renewed in October 2021 for 8 years until 2029. Framework Agreement renewed on 28 June 2024, expiring in March 2032. WFEO was founded under UNESCO’s auspices and has its head office at UNESCO in Paris.

A UNESCO Category 2 Centre at Tsinghua University, Beijing.
ISTIC International Science Technology and Innovation Centre
A UNESCO Category 2 Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
IFEES International Federation of Engineering Education Societies
An international society progressing standards in engineering education.
FIDIC Federation of International Consulting Engineers
Its members are national associations of consulting engineers.

A global network of organisations of women in STEM.

A slot for each level of support WFEO agrees, including contributions made in kind (donated services or platforms), each with the supporter’s name, what they support and since when. Levels, wording and placement are WFEO’s to set.
