WFEO Institute

The WFEO Institute is a flagship mechanism that will advance the Strategic Plan outcomes on informed decision-making, strengthened education and enhanced capacity for sustainable development.

It aims to strengthen the engineering profession’s capacity to address global issues such as climate change, digital transformation, sustainability, disaster resilience, systems thinking, ethics and leadership. Building on the experience of the WFEO Academy, the Institute will offer learning and advisory services developed in partnership with UNESCO, UNU, international organisations, universities and WFEO members, and will deliver internationally recognised certification and training programmes.

Today: the WFEO Academy

The Academy’s learning platform offers courses for engineering educators, accreditation bodies and professional development, including free anti-corruption training modules. Participants register as members of a national, affiliate or associate member of WFEO, complete a course, and receive a certificate of completion.

The Institute uses the same header, navigation back to WFEO, type and colours, so a learner never feels they have left WFEO.
